Fashion was a huge part of Mia Mai, inspired by her degree in Fashion & Textiles Ami always believed that the way you dress can change the way you feel about yourself. Mia Mai garments were all about reintroducing glamour, beauty & vintage passion back into every day life. Ami created customised vintage collections as well as smaller boutique lingerie ranges. A selection of those collections can be seen below.
2015 – Lingerie Photoshoot
Following a lingerie construction course in London in 2012 Ami created an underwired set using vintage lace which can be seen in this shoot with a customised set and handmade garter belt from her 2012 Lingerie collection. 2014 – Lingerie Collection
In 2014 Mia Mia launched its second lingerie collection, inspiration was taken from ethnic fabrics and trims mixed with vintage laces and embellishments. The collection was modelled by Amber Y, Emily T, Naomi H at The Kings Theatre in Southsea.
2012 – Lingerie Collection
In 2012 Mia Mai created it’s first ever lingerie collection which debuted at the first ever Southsea Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by dressing room glamour and show girl pieces. The collection was photographed in 2015 professionally by photographer Graham Hudson at The Royal Marines Museum in Southsea…
…and also on the catwalk for the first ever SFW which took place in the Portsmouth Cathedral.
2011 – Marie Antoinette Shoot
In 2011 Ami started moving her interests from fashion to lingerie as seen in this collaborative styled shoot. It features handmade jewellery by Ami and some of her customised vintage items. 2010 – Dia De Los Muertos

2007 – Tattooed Doll Collection
The first collection created by Ami after University under the banner of Mia Mai was a customised vintage collection including garments of a nautical theme which had been decorated with traditional tattoos.
